2. What types of hardwood do you use?

A lot of our products are made using solid oak, but we often work with other high-quality hardwoods, including walnut, sapele ,cherry and ash. Each species offers its own distinct look and character—from rich dark tones to light, smooth finishes. We’re happy to recommend the best wood for your specific design or use.

3. Can I personalise my order?

Yes! Most of our products can be customised with personalised engraved messages, logos, QR codes or even location coordinates.

Products that have personalisation as an option, will indicate this on their product page. Where this is the case, your customisation requirements can be simply added during the ordering process.

We will confirm requirements, prior to final customisation taking place so there will always be an opportunity to amend if required, prior to final engraving.

5. How should I care for my hardwood gift?

Wipe your item with a soft, damp cloth and avoid prolonged exposure to moisture or direct sunlight. For items like cutting boards or utensils, apply a food-safe, natural wood oil or beeswax conditioner every few months to keep the wood nourished and protected.

We utilise a pure tung oil - similar products are widely available, and will preserve not only the products longevity, but also provide a food-safe coating.

6. Is the wood you use sustainably sourced?

Yes — sustainability is at the heart of what we do. We only source hardwoods from trusted suppliers of responsible sourced hardwoods. Whenever possible, we also use reclaimed or locally harvested wood to reduce environmental impact.

7. Are your finishes food-safe?

For kitchen items like cutting boards, serving trays, and utensils, we use only food-safe oils and finishes - principly a natural pure tung oil. Decorative pieces may use other finishes for enhanced color or sheen, but all materials are non-toxic and eco-friendly.

8. How long does it take to make and ship an order?

Most orders are handcrafted and ready to ship within 5–10 business days. Personalized or bulk orders may take a bit longer, depending on design complexity. Standard shipping typically takes 3–5 business days within the U.S.

9. What if I need my order by a specific date?

If you need your hardwood gift by a certain date (for example, a wedding, birthday or anniversary), please let us know when you order. We’ll do our best to accommodate rush requests and offer expedited shipping options when possible.

10. What is your return or exchange policy?

We want you to love your hardwood piece. Non-personalised items may be returned or exchanged within 28 days of delivery if unused and in original condition. Personalised or custom orders are non-refundable, but if there’s an issue with craftsmanship or damage, we’ll make it right.
